In addition to accepting self-pay patients and many traditional medical insurance plans, we also accept the following:
At-Fault (Liability) Insurance
When you’re involved in a auto accident, the “at-fault” insurance company is obligated to compensate you any injuries you may have incurred due to the accident. You file this claim after your medical treatment. If you receive a settlement for your injuries right after the accident, you are not entitled to another one. In order to be properly compensated for your case, you must wait until you have proper documentation of your injuries.
Dr. Davis has over 30 years experience with accident patients, and his staff know which types of documentation you’ll need to present your injuries to the insurance company for a fair settlement.
There is no template or easy formula for determining the settlement amount you’re entitled to receive as a result of your accident. Each insurance settlement is different and based off many factors, such as the extent and nature of your injuries and the medical treatment required to treat them.
We recommend that you consult with an attorney to who can represent you when dealing with the insurance companies. We can recommend attorneys in the area that have been successful in negotiating fair and equitable settlements for their clients.
Personal Injury Protection Coverage
Personal Injury Protection coverage, or “PIP,” is a no-fault insurance coverage that you elect to carry on your own insurance policy, or the insurance policy belonging to the driver of the vehicle in which you were an occupant. If this coverage is available to you, you can use it no matter which party was found to be at fault. This means you’re able to use this policy even if you were at-fault for the accident.
Most importantly, per Maryland State law, your insurance company CANNOT increase your premiums for using your personal injury protection coverage.
If you have an attorney, they’ll likely process the personal injury protection coverage for you. Be aware that there are deadlines for filing personal injury protection claims, so we recommend contacting an attorney as soon as possible.

At our Rockville Chiropractic clinic, we’re more than happy to work with your attorney to ensure you’re able to receive fair compensation for your injuries, pain and suffering. We accept attorney’s liens and/or assignment and authorizations.
Personal Injury Protection is the primary no-fault insurance coverage in Maryland. However, on certain policies, you may have purchased additional MedPay coverage, which works similarly to the benefits of PIP.
Let us check on any additional coverage that may be available to help cover the cost of your injuries.
